Emma McLaren

Accountant

Emma plays a key role at James Rose, supporting a wide range of clients by preparing financial statements, tax returns, VAT and CIS submissions, and management accounts. She works closely with the team to deliver accurate, timely reports that help businesses stay compliant and make confident, informed decisions.

Since starting her accountancy career in 2018, Emma has built up valuable experience across various sectors both in the UK and internationally. She’s currently working towards her ACCA qualification, constantly building on her skills and knowledge to offer even more to the clients she supports.

Emma brings an upbeat, friendly energy to everything she does, creating strong connections with both clients and colleagues. Her approachable nature and positive outlook make working with her an enjoyable experience. Outside of work, she enjoys performing on stage, keeping active at the gym, and relaxing with her partner, their dog, and a good crime thriller. Emma’s enthusiasm and down-to-earth attitude help make finance feel more relatable and accessible.
